This Introduction is an opportunity for those who wish to see what Writing Naked is about, to ask questions, to participate in a regular class, and to meet Annie and other women who are enrolled or thinking about enrolling. In other words, it's a delectable taste of what is to come in the next 8 weeks of writing together! By participating in this you are not obligated to take the series, but are able to determine if this work is right for you, as well as the timing.
The group is limited to 12 women.
OKAY LADIES, HERE'S THE DEAL:
WRITING NAKED.
Therefore, less time in the classroom this Fall, and more time going down the Rabbit Hole, which is how I describe my writing process when I sink down into the world where that's all there is: A wonderland of words. I stay there for about six hours at a time. Suddenly, I look up and wham! A whole different reality:

Thank god for drool and slobbery tennis balls, or I would still be in the Rabbit Hole. My greatest fear is that I will go THERE and never come back out!

8-Week Series Dates

Wednesday afternoons: 1:00 - 3:30

New Ideas!
A 4-week Series is being considered, to be held on Sunday afternoons. These classes will be scheduled almost back-to-back so people can participate on an ongoing basis, if desired. I no longer hold evening classes. Hopefully, those of you unable to attend a weekday class will be able to attend a Sunday class. The 4-Week Series will possibly begin sometime in September, 2008 when Annie returns from her vacation.
This is an experimental format! We would love feedback from readers interested in "Writing Naked" classes. Also planned are occasional ONE-Day Workshops. How's that sound?

Our classes are designed for you to find your voice and for you to experiment with that sometimes "scary" label of writer. This environment is open, safe, and nurturing for experimenting. We build the classes upon honor, respect, clarity, and a sense of feeling safe and accepted. We do not critique, nor is there any emphasis on who is "experienced" or "published". This space is just for YOU to be yourself!
